I responded to everyone's suggestions on finding a new website host, and after reviewing a dozen or more, took Claudia's advice about Homestead. The use of their graphic's package and ease of programming, even though there's a cost involved (but no annoying pop-ups), that was the clincher.
They gave me a 30-day free trial. I've only designed one page so far. The Home Page...and although it's not completely finished (the Amazon and PageOne logo links buttons need to be activated, plus a few small additions and deletions)...I did want to publish the Home Page for your collective input...if you'd be so kind.

Amazing what one little letter will do to you in a web addy, huh? I am really impressed with your site, makes me want to do more to mine.

Takes a while to load on my slow machine, but the pictures are worth the wait...enjoyed the background as well...disappointed the other pages aren't there for viewing yet... |

On the front page of the topics listed for this forum, go to the bottom of the listings of all the topics, and you will see at the end a Start New Thread, click that button and then fill out the space that will pop up like the one you just put that question on.
Verrry simple.........

Wow, Bill. Homestead has really IMPROVED their graphics capability since I had a site with them. Your page looks GREAT, very intriguining info posted.
Loved the pictures too. I'm impressed and envious. |
