CE and all,
After Dennis mentioned a site that he'd found contained several ideas for book signings, I visited www.celebratelove.com and emailed the author, Mr. Larry James. I invited him to stop by and he did, but thought he was at the wrong place. I've asked him to return and will direct him to this thread to introduce himself and offer any hints or suggestions that he's found particulary helpful.

Mr. James tried to sign on but couldn't. He gave me permission to copy and paste this. Something about all the java scripts not being compatible with his browser or something like that.

Vickie mentioned my "BookSigningTips." That list has been growing ever since it was first published and has been read around the world. Some have said it's one of the most complete lists they've seen. I can say that they have helped me increase the sale of my books at signings.
I believe that book signings are an opportunity to build "relationships" with the book sellers. I consider book signings as an opportunity to SELL the book sellers on recommending MY books when someone asks for a good relationship book!

Well, that's cool.
I can understand the java thing - sometimes java can be annoying, or dangerous, and folks turn it off. If you talk with him again, please express our gratitude for his message, and let him know that there are only 2 scripts on this page and 2 on the main site, both very innocuous.
