Some Western Colorado authors have put together a writers conference. Jerry Mohrlang, talented Publish America author, known as Colorado Writer on the PA board, has spearheaded the whole thing. We have representatives of some local publishing companies, as well as many talented authors as speakers. Some of the subjects covered will be writing the romance novel, writing a screenplay, how to protect yourself from a libel action, writing the historical novel, self publishing vs. vanity publishing, marketing, and more. The event is to be held in Battlement Mesa, Colorado at their large activities center on October 16. Published authors will also be assigned a space to sell books. The cost is only $25, which includes coffee and lunch. What a bargain! If anyone happens to be in the area, we'd love to have you join us. Email me at MarEErick@aol.com. I'll send you more information about the conference and how to register. Mary |

Wish I could be there Mary. Jerry told me this was in the works but I'd heard no more about it. I hope you get a wonderful turnout. Post a report here on the conference when it is over. Jerry Mohrlang is one of my favorite writers. |
