Although I know the mixed (being politically correct here) feelings about PA, I am happy to announce the following:

After last year's release of "Torn" which spent five weeks at #1 through the entire month of December and the 1st week of January and then return to #1 this past summer, my second book "Running of the Bulls" has carried on the legacy!!! My second book with PA is at #1 on the Amazon sales charts for PA!!!

The only down side (again, being politically correct here) to all of this is the news that PA has passed on to me that, despite my success, they will no longer publish my books for being "out of country". Oh well, I guess we cannot always have our cake and eat it too. Go figure their stragedy. Maybe being successful has a price to pay... Some other publishing house will carry on the success of this first book of the Spanish romance Trilogy!!!

Thanks to all of those that have supported me and making dreams and goals come true!!!!

That doesn't make a whole lot of sense, since they've got offices outside of the US! Britannia and Icelandica come to mind. They wouldn't think to transfer the book to one of them?
I'm sorry Fred, but this isn't the end of the proverbial rainbow for you. There are a good many romance publishing houses out there that will be glad to snap you up!

Congrats, Fred...too bad about PA not being able to publish your books any longer, but I'm certain another publisher will see the success you've garnered, and be willing to take on your entire trilogy...

Fred,

You have always impressed me. Trust me, getting your books back from PA (despite how it may seem now) will be the best thing that has ever happened to you. Now, yes, you have a little work to do to find a new publisher, but you will. I don't doubt your future success for one moment.

Fred,
Where there's a will, there's a way...
Stay after it. You'll be fine.
Good luck and get those books back!

I think it is truly good news to be released from pa, so I am NOT sad for you on that. It means you get to see the book succeed even more than you ever thought possible. :-)

Oh, I see my word have been misinterpeted. PA will no longer publish any of my future books.... I still have that obligation with the two I have with them. But, from Joy's viewpoint... well she said it better than I could about all future book projects....

Still, thanks for the encouragement people. You all are the greatest!!!!

Oh, I missed that part. Such is life. My eyes were playing tricks and I thought they did not wish to continue printing your current books, then shipping it out of the states. Dang I hate it when I skip a word, or a sentence, or complete paragraphs.

This was what made me think you meant they were giving up on all your books. Thanks for clarifying...

Hi Fred,

I never heard of a publishing company dropping an author for that reason. Something seems fishy. Why would a publishing company drop an author that was selling well? Usually by this time a publisher is kissing the author's feet!Well I've never worked with PA but from what I've heard you've gotten the better part of the stick. Maybe this is a good sign for you. There are a lot of bigger fish in the sea that would probably jump at the chance to publish you. I think this will turn out to be a good thing. I wish you all the best.

Thanks Stacy!!!! I guess success does come with a price...(once more, being politically correct here).

Todd and Joy, after reading my original post, I could understand how what I said was taken wrong.
