Did you guys hear about the finger in Wendy's chili? No telling what other body parts are floating around in their recipes. I know where I won't be eating tonight! Stacy www.stacy-deanne.net |

Stacy, the cops are thinking that the finger was put into the chili to gain a foothold for a lawsuit ONLY, and that the finger came from another victim who got injured in another place and accident that had absolutely nothing to do with Wendy's or their chili. There is thought that the owner of the finger part and the woman who foud it is in question as to them knowing each other in some fashion. The woman who allegedly "found" the finger has been the perpetrator of about 4-6 lawsuits that she has instigated and therefore she is being looked at very closely for fraud. She has relatives in the bay area near San Jose, whom she was visiting when she found the offending finger in the chili, or somewhere nearby and lives in Las Vegas, so we, here in Reno, are getting daily coverage of everything that has happened in that case. It is still being investigated and hoped that they get to the bottom of whatever happened soon, so that others can rest and eat easy knowing that the food they are eating is what it should be. I really doubt that it was from one of the employees or suppliers of Wendy's. Of course, I may be wrong about the whole thing and it may have really happened the way she says, but her credibility here in Reno is very shaky as it is in Las Vegas. And Wendy's swears that they haven't found an employee that was injured on the job in any of its processing areas, plus they have upped the ante on the reward to around $10,00+ just to get the thing settled. Go have a baked potato and put some chili on it with some cheese sauce over it and enjoy. Course, if you bite into anything that is bigger than a small nugget of meat, and have difficulty chewing it, spit it out quick and get thee to a manager immediately. Claudia MINDSIGHT MODERATOR

the woman in question with the finger in the chili is well-known for filing law suits. she has sued and won three times -- doesn't take a real smart person to figure out she planted the finger. http://www.perrycomer.com

We have two options here. A. the lady planted the body part for financial gain B. Wendy's is giving you the finger when you buy their chili. Preview books: http://www.frederickbabb.bravehost.com |
