The article at the following link is published in the current issue of the New York Times Book Review. The online NY Times has seen fit to include it on this morning's page of its website for others to read and not just hard-copy subscribers. I urge you to read it, not because it mentions PA, but for other reasons that should be of interest to struggling writers. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/04/24/books/review/24GLAZERL.html |

Thanks F.E., great food for thought, albeit a bit depressing as reminders of the likelihood for success as a novelist always are. Thanks for sharing. CJ |

Well - the preacher says AMEN! It's about time somebody took notice. To Dee - thank you for persistence that opened up the scam to public scrutiny. Notice in the article the TIMES SAID - AS YET THE GOVERNMENT AGENCIES HAVE SO FAR DECLINED TO INVESTIGATE. My question is, What are they waiting for? But I do think it is going to happen http://www.perrycomer.com

http://bugmenot.com will give you log-ins should you wish to avoid signing up for NYT spam. You can also get an add-in for firefox. When I hit a site like that asking me for a log-in I can now right click and get to see what I was looking for instead of wasting time and energy to get my information sold (the number one reason sites create log-ins). I would post the article, but that "pesky copyright stuff" makes it a no-no. Still, I highly recommend it for anyone considering self-publishing or even *shudder* PA.
