So, here I am quietly enjoying the obscurity of my self-imposed exile, and I get this email from Bill Nelson, telling me to show up here because I am allegedly missed. And so, I dragged myself over here to say "Hi". You may or may not remember me, or that Priceless and I had a little falling out last year over publishing matters. I took AbsoluteWrite and she took Mindsight. We have since patched things up, so I guess it's safe to come back here. I've been concentrating on writing my WIP, something different for me, a paranormal thriller. I've spent a lot of time researching a historical figure who is vital to the story. Plus, I've been working really hard at my real job, and haven't had a lot of time for messageboarding. Anyway, Bill, obviously I got your email. How's everybody been? |

Hi Diana!! I turned my back for a second and all kinds of good folks popped back in. I'm so happy to see you. I'm doing very little writing wise. When summer passes maybe I will start a new project. Happy to hear you are stretching your parameters with a new book. Laurel Johnson

Diana, Good to see you here again. I'm sure we would all like to see you come around more often. The growth process (including Lynn) is painful for all of us at times. Who said it would be easy? Share some of your thoughts and doings from time to time. Welcome back. |

Diana, What Bill said.... Life is never easy and it is worse as we writers seek to achieve are dreams. But, in the end, when we look back, we see how the learning process makes us all better at our craft and, dare I say, better people. Welcome back! Okay, it's been so long I forgot how to post and my last one got lost somewhere in cyberspace. I know one must be able to post from Kansas since I've seen Nancy's posts. That's where we are. Moved to Kansas in April to the little town of Lindsborg, 70 miles north of Wichita. Bought an old house that used to be an art gallery and have been busy fixing it up. Plans are to open my own art gallery. I've been pretty far removed from writing and also painting, unless painting walls and garage doors count. Bill also Emailed me so here I am. I do lurk once in awhile. Diana, it's good to see you posting and Bill thanks for the Emails. Enjoy them. And Nancy (or anyone else traveling through) if you're ever in town, come see us at 231 N. Main, Mayberry RFD. That's what this town reminds me of with pop. 3,500. We love it. www.Mareerick@aol.com |

Hi, Diana! I've been wondering about you. I'm so glad you patched up past hurts and are moving on. We've missed you! Mary, I LOVE Lindsborg. Been there many times. My Dala horse sits on one of my bookshelves! I always thought that the Swedish Country Inn would make a lovely place to go for a "writing weekend." I may still do that one of these days.
