As a longstanding follower of Mindsightseries' threads, I'd like to share with you all the cover to the debut novel in my Rex Graves Mystery Series, which C.E. Winterland kindly reduced to size so I could post it here.
CHRISTMAS IS MURDER, published by Midnight Ink Books, the mystery imprint of Llewellyn Worldwide, is already going into reprint, even though it hasn't reached the bookstores yet. It is, however, now available at www.amazon.com, a month ahead of time.
CHRISTMAS IS MURDER was favorably reviewed by Kirkus Reviews; Rick Miller, playwright and host of ABC's prime time hit series "Just for Laughs," and by Nancy Mehl, author of The Ivy Towers Mystery Series from Barbour Books.
15% of royalties are going to Soldiers' Angels, a veterans' charity that supports service members severely wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq. (Whatever the rights or wrongs of this war, these young people are laying life and limb on the line for our country.) Soldiers' Angels (www.soldiersangels.org) have me as their Featured Author for August. Please take a look.
Not suggesting you all rush out and buy the book, but please spread the word by email, blog, and word of mouth, and bear CHRISTMAS IS MURDER in mind as a Christmas gift that will help those kids (average age 23) facing debilitating injuries for the rest of their lives.

Congratulations, Sophie. Several years ago I knew you would succeed as a writer and sure enough you have!! I'm so pleased with your success.
I'm on reviewing hiatus right now except for books already on hand because I'm working on a writing project of my own, but it sounds like you have plenty of review offers.
