Hello everyone.

If you're looking at this, you've already noticed something about the forum.

(Moderators - sorry I jumped the gun by a day, but I had time today to do it)

There is new Mindsight Forum, which you can find by following the header link above, or by clicking here http://forum2.mindsightseries.com

The new forum engine - phpBB - should look familiar to any of you who visit other forums on the web. I am making the move to phpBB to take advantage of several features made available by its wide use (ie: integrating the chat feature with the forum, the anti-spam measures, etc...).

This forum - the discus version, will eventually be shut down to the point of reference-only or read-only. I have already shut down the new user registration (you may have noticed that the register link is missing), and once sufficient time has passed (say a few hours... heheheh) I'll also shut down the ability to post here, thereby forcing you to go to the new forum.

(Aren't I sweet?)

Please hop over to the new forum and register yourself (self-registration is instantaneous at the new forum, by the way) and let's get started on the next generation of Mindsight Forum discussion.

By the way the same rules apply at the new forum as at this one.

I clicked on the hot link and found the new site rather barren (one post by Nancy Mehl), possibly because the PHP board wasn't launched until today. I half expected it to be crammed full of flash technology and gaudy distractions, but was pleasantly surprised to find out how close the new board resembles the old. I'm sure that once we get used to it, the differences will seem minor. My main concern is the Forum's listing with the search engines. It often takes a while for new URL's to gain recognition.

Nary you fear, Fred. This one will still exist and be available for reference, and I will reroute the main page to the new forum once we have users moved.
It takes a hundred pages just to clear my throat.
