SUPREME COURT RULING The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a nativity scene in Washington, D.C. this Christmas. This isn't for any religious constitutional reason. It's simply impossible to find three wise men and a virgin in the Nation's capitol. There were no problems, however, finding enough asses to fill the stable. |

Good one Jenn! Actually, I think the problem was that the ACLU and ASPCA agreed that it was inhumane to try and stuff that many asses into the stable, thus the real reason for prohibiting it. Not to mention that Greenpeace objected to the methane release, and there were about 100 other special interest lobby groups who found reasons...to include such things as the proper skin color of the holy family, the proper nutritional balance of their food, the ecologically soundness of their clothing, and the fact that they way they spoke was not politically correct. There were those who were upset that one of the shepherd boys was not gay, and that Mary was not depicted as a vegetarian. Oh...I could go on and on... www.winterwolfpublishing.com |

Went to my son's kindergarten program the otehr night. Hilarious for sure, but the kids did AWAY IN A MANAGER...stunning the crowd....now I live in a rural community that usually ignores the ACULA anyway, but a local um, how can I say it???? Ya get the picture...bitched because of the Christian stuff in public schools a decade ago. The chains must be off. I am not for institutionalized religion in the schools, but there isn't one Muslim in our schools. Besides, it wasn't a Ramadon holiday program. |
