Well, it's one year since my original goal of supporting myself (and my family) full time through my writing. Sigh.
I guess it's time to set a new goal. I'm not giving up. I intend to make it happen. I just don't want to be like the old woman in the nursing home who was published when she was in her 80's - hit the best sellers' list and died shortly after that! I want to enjoy it for awhile! LOL!

My husband had the wait staff at Applebee's sing to me. Of course, they read my age wrong and announced to the entire restaurant that I was 60!!! AAARRRGGGHHH!

As far as being 60, it is next B-day for me.... am I worried, a huge resounding NO. Actually I like that I have made it so far past where my parents were when they both (all) died, that it makes me really happy to be alive. Savor every moment that you are here, no matter waht your age, for therea re many you have known and loved that did not make it as far as you have already.

Well, I agree that 60 isn't too bad...but I'm clinging to 51 with all my might! Sheesh. I still feel 20. Why doesn't my outside line up with my inside???? What a rip off!

and My goal is to be published by traditional publisher and earning royalties at 55 ---- so I've got two years to go. That's means I have to turn out something really good real soon or one that I have already published has to click with another publisher.
