Yep. Central IL man. It is sorta chilly out today, but I got the mowers all ready and the beer chilled, so I gotta do what I gotta do... now it the pin holds on the front tire of the rider, hell, I'm in business... www.stevenshrewsbury.com |

I could have left the beer in the yard, and it probably would have iced... but I still had to mow the yard this afternoon, because I left it much longer than I should have, and the sounds of lions and elephants was getting a bit much for the neighbors... Anyone know where I can pick up an honest-to-goodness SINGLE PIECE handle for a mower? These two-piece ones are crap... |

Todd-buy a horse. BEER is good for the yard. It helps keep the bugs down. |

I could hook the horse up to pull the mower, but I'd think the piston engine would freak it out... ;-) |

Ha ha ha ha ha. No more snow here lately, thank goodness. It hit almost 70 today, amazingly enough, considering the day started with frost on the windows. And a good thing, too. We are having an awesome Home & Garden Expo this weekend at the fairgrounds, and I'd rather work in a mildly warm booth than have to wear my down coat under the small t-shirt the boss tossed at me. LOL LA LaurieAnne

I would think it make them easier to find that way...unless they were hidden before the snow came and buried them... |

ROTFLMAO, Jenn! And around MY house, if there is snow on the ground, we let the kids hunt in the house. Makes it really hard to distract them long enough to hide the things when they are all in the room (my 5, my sister's 4, my brother's 2-almost 3, my sister's 2, my brother's 3, and my step-sisters 1...that's 17 1/2 kids in one house to hunt eggs, y'all). Usually, though, it's not the snow...it's the rain. And they hunt inside for that, too. 'Cuz 'tain't no way I'm gettin' stuck havin' to shampoo my momma's carpet fer da mud dat goit drug in. He he he...I'm sitting here at the office in a cowboy hat. A BLUE, straw hat, because today is our "subscriber round-up". The boss bought the front office 'gals' blue straw cowGIRL hats to wear to draw extra attention to the sale. Just putting the hat on, I start sliding back to Texas-talk, as they call it when I start in. LOL LA LaurieAnne

The snow is gone... (at least for the moment) and I spent the entire day outdoors and have acquired a mild sunburn. Cool'eh? I'll be out in the sun for the next two days too. It's HARLEY demo days and I'm helping out the local Harley dealer by escorting groups of folks riding the demo bikes. Better break out the sunscreen. |

I went out and bought a 12 pack of Bud Light. I don't normally drink Bud Light...usually Miller or something cheaper. I'm into my fourth...wait...fifth...wait...six beer? Maybe I should slow down and savor it. Got a whole night on the computer to go!

Bill, THAT's funny, dude. I actually didn't drink very much, but it had been so long since I'd been out like that, and the sinus headache from allergies and the rain storms...it all added up to me not feeling very good. I took a couple of Excedrin and a Clariton and managed to fel good enough to head to work. Paula, I don't like that "Gold..." stuff. If I'm going to do shots, someone else had better be driving. 'Cause I'll hit some of my 4 favorite men: Jack, Jim, Jose and the Captain. I started off with a Rum and Coke, and moved forward to Smirnoff. I think I had 3. I bought 2 for me and 3 for a friend, then I drank half of 2 of hers. So that makes 3. Funny. The guys were watching the two of us chug, then dance. You'd have thought they were scoping possibilities. Must be I flashed my wedding right in just the right light 'cause they never actually approached us. LOL LA LaurieAnne
