In Dante's Divine Comedy, "contrapasso" is the punishment one receives in Hell.
Sinners are mostly punished in a way that is similar in nature to the sins committed on earth, but opposite--a mirror image.

Ergo... when we get to Hell, our books will be published! Just before it freezes!
