I just found out that my hotmail account has been hiding my "junk" mail. Rather than notifying me of mail that when to my junk folder, it looked as if I didn't have any! A lot of good mail has been shuffled to "junk" in the past - but I was able to find it and put it in my main account.

So...if anyone wrote to me lately and I didn't respond - that's why! Please write again. I wasn't ignoring you!

Lemme get this straight...

First she signs this deal with a big time publisher. An agented deal no less.

Then she decides she won't review books any more.

Now she quits answering her email.

Am I detecting a trend here?

Next thing you know she'll quit buying her shoes on eBay!!!

Oh, no. I can't get by without those eBay shoes.

They look great!

And it only takes a few day to get the smell out...

Next thing you know she will be to busy to be a mod here and then she will be to busy and will only post once a week, then once a month. Next thing you know she will be like 'Dennis Collins who?'.

That's okay, Stephen.

Just a minor offense...

I felt the urge to upload Randy Newman's Short People, but managed to resist it.

On the bright side, we'll be able to name-drop. I'll tell people "I knew her back when I was tall."

Yeah, she already ignores stuff about her books that aren't with the big publishers. (Sniff. See my review of Malevolence on The Mindsight Forum board.) Poor Icy. Treated like a redheaded step-child!

Joyce!

Oh, thank you. What a wonderful review. You are too sweet.

I'm sorry I didn't notice sooner. I've been so busy working on the Barbour book.

I heard from someone from Barbour yesterday. They are going to go ahead and set up some info on their Web site. They asked for a picture and a bio. The e-mail was only sent to about a dozen people. I'm hoping that "The Dead of Winter" will be in the first set of releases.

(Thanks again, Joyce. You're a doll!)

Interesting...wasn't that the title of Jay Squires' book?

Actually, I should have written "In the Dead of Winter." As you can see, it's totally different... <g>
