Gloria, that is indeed quite unusual here. Most do expect some kind of gesture though, and that something is done about the situation.
I know I often appear quite hostile, but I think you feel that this is not my intention.
I’m more of a research type of person, and not much of a diplomat.
I look at the US today, and what imagine could the EU could be like in the future.
Although this European unification will offer many advantages, it also can form a certain danger.
That is one of the reasons that the US interests me. I do highlight the negative more than the positive, but usually risks can be more important than the gains.
I think it will just take some time to better understand each other, it takes will and a certain kind of openness to do so. |
