I'm sick and tired of looking for some fact only to have to deal with a thousand ads not even connected to what I'm looking for. A few years ago, a search engine let you find information now all you get are ads and more ads. Is there a good search engine not ad driven? http://www.perrycomer.com http://throughablindeye.blogspot.com/

ads I can deal with, it is the annoying amount of ads before you get to what you are looking for that drives me bonkers. to m, a good search engine would filter out ads that are marginal connected to what I look for. even the google advanced search does little to filter useless websites. I remember when lycos and others would give you information from journals, books, etc. on the first page of a search -- now you have to go about ten pages deep and sift stuff wouldn't it be nice to have a university create a search engine that filtered out the ads? http://www.perrycomer.com http://throughablindeye.blogspot.com/
