Hey Bill. How did yall do yesterday? We got a little over 10 inches of water in my neck of the woods. The house is high enough that it didn't come in, but I don't think we'll be needing the sprinklers any time soon. How is everyone else?

We were on the edge of the system and only got an inch or less in most of the area. I'm glad you're high and dry there. That was a lot of water in a very short time. I wondered about you.

By the way, Sheila, you'll be thrilled to hear by the power invested in me as an author I have changed you into a man!

A character in a story I'm working on is Dr. Steven Schmidt. I figured if I left you as a woman, you might sue me, so I did the surgery. You're still good looking, don't worry.

Glad you and your family are safe.

What color is my hair? Please make it black. I know I'm a blonde, but I've always wanted black hair. I love black hair! (and, yes, I've dyed mine black once before...looked embalmed...). Are my eyes still blue? Steven is actually my brother's name! This is just too cool!

p.s. Perry - hang in there!

No rain here in the Palm Springs area, but we do have a lot of folks who switch sexes.

We're also getting some of those leftovers here in the Heart of Dixie. The rain we're used to, but this system brought warm temperatures back! We're supposed to be in the 90s again tomorrow. UGH!

It was snow here and I got caught in it in four different areas on a 250 mile motorcycle ride. But being a glutton for punishment I just rode on home and parked the bike then went to my grandson's homecoming football game and stood in the snow for another two and a half hours... at night.

We got about 20 inches up in Conroe, but the Lake was 4-5 feet low (they had to drop it after Rita to repair the dam). It only came up about a foot, so we need three or four more like it.
