Sheila's husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several
months, yet she had stayed by his bedside every single day.

One day, when he came to, he motioned for her to come nearer. As she sat
by him, he whispered as her eyes filled with tears:

"You know what?" You have been with me all through the bad times.

When I got fired, you were there to support me.
When my business failed, you were there.
When I got shot, you were by my side.
When we lost the house, you stayed right here.
When my health started failing, you were still by my side...

You know what?"

"What dear?" she gently asked, smiling as her heart began to fill with
warmth.

"I think you're bad luck, get the hell away from me."

Alright, that little quippet of knowledge was under a gag order to remain suppressed. The forum will kindly disregard Mr. Nelson's feeble attempt at humor in its entirety.

The gag order was lifted when you were released from custody.
And, who you callin' feeble anyway? I still get around...some...a little.

I'm good! The kids are in fall sports, which is keeping me pretty busy. The season ends next weekend (yea!). Are yall getting alot of snow already? It is finally starting to feel like fall around here, although it would probably still feel like summer to you!
How are the pups?

well, we had one good snowfall and then it went away, got too warm for a short spell, but I am getting ready to start the ski program here with my Special Olympics skiers soon. Temps are cold, but not snow cold yet. Pups are getting old, much to my sorrow, but they are well for the time being. Daisy is about 12-14 and Bummer is at least 14 years now, and maybe more. Everything else is status quo for the most part.

Hope your Thanksgiving and the rest of the holidays are wonderful for you and your family. Give the kids and hubby a hug for me.
