I know, but the article that came with the news didn't say what they took for it, or what else was offered, only what they turned down.

They were offered an apartment in the building that will eventually occupy that site but turned it down because it was on the upper floors. I understand they also turned down a fairly substantial cash offer ($235.000?) Right now they're in an apartment in a different location but there's no more information than that.
