Geert Wilders is a preacher of hatred.

At this moment in time his influence is not too damaging luckely, but that might change. If Wilders ever comes into power it will be the end of freedom of religion: he only recognizes Christianity, Judaism and atheism/agnostism, the rest should go. Now I would still fit in his point of view, but I would hate to live in a country like that. Personally I see many similarities with Hitler.

Wilders walks out in discussions when the questions get a bit too tough.

But some here at Mindsight would love the guy as he hates all Muslims no matter what they do or don't. To him one idiotic Muslim represents all Muslims.

He made a hate movie about Islam, but the Muslim community has plead all Muslims to keep calm and not do anything racical no matter what. Pretty good advice and I hope no young hot-head will ignore that as one small mishap will be enough to trigger an all-out response.

I meet several Muslims nearly every day and notice how increasingly threatened they feel for the last 8 years. No wonder with Palestine nearly wiped off the map, two other Islamic nations invaded by Christan nations and a third threatened, and a world wide hate campaign against Islam itself.

My conclusion is that mankind always forgets the lessons of the past almost within one generation.

Yesterday the Jewish people, today the Muslims and tomorrow maybe you and me.

But you know that I think this way as we had many discussions before, so why bring it up now?
And isn't this a bit off-topic again?
