been through this before. I guess that the spammers are so bored that they have to come in here and try to wreck our board again...... Sorry folks, but just ignore it and we will try to clean up the mess when we have the time. Other than that, just post to any thread you want to (the same as always) and ignore all the spam like it isn't there. In reality, it is just our perception that shows us the spam and all we need to do is to block it out of our minds and it isnt there then.....

Haha! That sounds like a neat trick Claudia, "it's just our perception and all we need to do is to block it out of our minds and it isn't there"
But perhaps it might be better to check what we could do to block spam.
Spammers are just people who fire up some software to do all the work for them. It only costs them a few seconds and the spam bots do all the work and make money for them. Every click on those links means cash, so don't click on them.
But I thought that one needed to apply by E-mail? Spam bots have difficulties recognizing characters in pictures that show access codes, perhaps this forum software has that possibility? |
