A darling little tyke sits upon her Grandmother's knee as they read.
"Granny," she asks, "Do all fairy tales began with 'Once Upon a Time?'
"No, sweetie," Granny replies, "many of them begin, "If I am elected, I will..."

I'm tempted to let loose with an utterly apropos and insanely witty political statement, but the Forum Cops have advised me against it and I would rather be exiled to Siberia than do another two year stint in a government nursing home.

"No, Mr. Dungan, you aren't ready to go home yet. You are far too ascerbic to take part in polite society. Go back to your ward, get back on your morphine drip, and watch Jerry Springer with your buddies."

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Thus, I'm availing myself of an opportunity to promote Dungan Books latest publication, Japanese Fairy Tales by Tai Theodora Ozaki, http://www.fdungan.com/nippon.htm. This is your chance to acquire some Oriental wisdom at my expense. Feed the oragami monkey with the golden eyes a virtual banana, crank up the speakers, and prepare to lock swords with "My Lord Bag of Rice." If he doesn't get you, then "The Goblin of Adachigahara" will. Who knows, you might actually enjoy it.
