Congrats! Way to go Joy. When I grow up, I want to be just like you. Or is it like by you?

Oh My Gosh! I just found this, and I can't beleive I made BOM! Thank you CE and whoever else does the choosing...:-)

Fred, thank you for the congrats, and if you want to be just like me when you "grow up", it may involve a subtraction of height. I'm only 5' tall. Oh, and you are liked by me...LOL.

Thank you again CE.

I think CE is the only one doing any choosing for the BOM...

Congrats, Joy...

Thank you Todd. The first thing I thought when my book was chosen, is that I now feel a part of Mindsight. No longer an outsider looking in.

Like Sally Field once said and will never live down: "You Like Me! You Really Like Me!"

tee-hee...I've never before had the opportunity to use that, but now that I have, I can now understand why she'll never live it down. Where's the delete button? Quick! Too bad she couldn't go back and edit that, huh?

Thank you again CE. :-)

Hi Jenn, and thank you for the congrats and I'm just so tickled. LOL. In case anyone is not aware of my above Sally Field thing, it was at an Oscars awards wing-ding, a few years back. Her acceptance speech probably would not have been a big deal if the media guys hadn't pounced on it and treated it like a giggly high school thing. Also, her girl-next-door looks didn't help matters. Elizabeth Taylor could've pulled those words off without a hitch, no doubt in my mind. And if you're too young to know who I'm talking about, well, jeez. Just move on to another thread. LOL.

I remember the Sally Fields thing. I think it was the mid 80's, she won 2 Oscars (for Norma Rae & Places in the Heart) and delivered that impromptu out-of-breath comment. I thought it was cute that she was so excited.

Joy,
Congratulations.
I hear nothing but good things about your book.
If it walks like a duck (not you, Joy), talks like a duck, etc. well, then it must be a good book! Or something like that.
Way to go...

LOL Bill, and thank you for the compliments. (Ducks?)

Jenn, I thought it was cute too. Sally Field wears her heart on her sleeve. She is not afraid to express herself openly. Usually, that is not a bad thing until someone in the press needs to take something so innocent and drag it way out of proportion to sell news. JMO.

Thank you Kitty. :-) Is that your name, or is it Nancy? My goal is to get to know everyone on Mindsight now that I've settled comfortably onto one MB. Not enough time in a day to meander all over the internet reading and joining all the others.
