Just got back and saw this.
Am very, very appreciative C.E. I consider it an honor.
But, I must admit that I have mixed emotions, like seeing your
mother-in-law driving off a cliff in your new Cadillac...
My experience with the publisher was pretty distasteful on that book.
Again, thank you very much!

Well, shucks, Bill, then perhaps you'll have to get Risen in there next time, eh?

I'm hoping RISEN, will make several BOM lists.
Since I'm sure that numerous of you are getting ready to dash off to Barnes and Noble tonight to pick up a copy, don't bother. PA's available through all brick and mortar bookstores doesn't mean just that. For those of you who have quickly gone to Amazon and ordered, please cancel it!
I wouldn't want even one more of that book or the others to make the publishers another dime. They can hold them 'till hell freezes over.
I have sacrificed Hiding Places, Den of Deception and Time Runner on the altar of fair-play for wannabe authors.
I have done nothing and will do nothing to promote any of those books ever again.
Their writings were wonderful experiences, but in the rear view mirror now.
Onward through the fog!
I am grateful to C.E. for the recognition. He's very generous.

Sounds identical to the way I feel about Hero.
Congrats on the BOM pick anyway, Bill...

Um...I still have Den of Deception and I think Hiding Places from my old Lending Library days. If anyone would like to borrow either copy, please email me @ lynn@lynnprice.net. Same goes for Todd's 'Hero'. I adored this book and I'd be happy to loan it out.

Way to go, Bill, even if you're hiding "Hiding Places." I feel the same way about my TenX novel. Don't promote it, anymore.

Mary
P.S. I've taken Lynn up on her offer to borrow one of your books.

Mary,
Get Den of Deception. Its better and the protagonist is about to make a comeback
in Singularity (Coming to a bookstore near you someday, I hope).

Lynn, if you still have either of the two copies of TBF, please loan them to anyone who wants to borrow a copy.

Dear LLL, (the former Lending Library Lynn),
I have no intention of putting you back into the library business, but just this once ***pleading position assumed***.... could I get you to put me on a waiting list for Bill's book - when Mary's finished? Thanks,
CJ
