That's lovely, but I think only CEW can post a book of the month after random drawing.

that is right Laurel, so, as a move to stop this sort of thing from being common practice, I think I will delete the start of this thread and leave the rest up with my notations at the bottom. I have made a copy of everything in it's entire form though, for CE's perusal, but until he gives approval of this sort of thing being taken upon by the members of the group without his sanction or approval, and decides that this may be a better or not better way of handling the BOM, this will not stay on the thread.

DR,
It is up to CE to chose the BOM and even though we have not had BOM for several months, it is still under CE's sanctions and judgment to do it, not anyone else's. It is CEW's board and up to him to pick a BOM whenever he wants to do it. You are more than welcome to contact him about this anytime, and he will make whatever decision he wants to at that time.

My deepest condolences for not being awarded the Book of the Month. I must concede that yours was the ballsiest move I've seen on this board in quite some time. Chutzpah is its own award.

Fred,
That's what suicide bombers say, isn't it!

D.R. Bennett is hardly the suicide bomber type. Most likely D.R. was going about his usual shotgun promotion of 7 Steps to Enlightenment without being fully aware of the implications of posting to the Book of the Month thread. Although not readily apparent, I can ssure you that my comments were tongue-in-cheek.

Hopefully, this will revive interest in the Book of the Month - a thread which has languished as of late.

Well, an honest first mistake can be granted. In light, I wish D.R. the best with the the book.
