Does anyone read that column of Marilyn (Whats-her-names), the woman who made the Guiness Book of records for being the smartest woman in the world? She had a contest going a couple of weeks ago. You had to write a 100 word paragraph, using only one-syllable words, and not using the same word twice. I'm not sure if it was a contest for writers or for people suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder. Maybe writers are both. After sixteen hours at the computer I zipped my entry off. I actually had 101 words so I took one out. Thought it might disqualify me. It's not as easy as you'd think. Just try it. I'll let you know if I win. The prize is getting published in her column, but I don't know when. Mary |

Good luck to you, Mary. That was quite an undertaking. I don't think I could do it. |

How about the guy who wrote a whole book without using the letter "e"? That one boggled my mind. Not permanently. I don't think. www.frankbaron.com |
