Have any of you published with American Book Publishing Group or any of its imprints? I would like very much to hear of your experiences with this publisher -- good or bad. Would you say their services are any better than the good services I receive from my self-published books (and online Civil War book store) at http://www.lulu.com/LION ? Thanks,

American is unknown to me. If you write Civil War stories check out Harbor House publishing. They are in Augusta Ga and very interested in Civil War, fiction and non-fiction.

I've heard rather bad things about American Book Publishing, from various other writing sites I frequent...no personal firsthand experience, though...

I have reviewed books from many publishers, including the self publishing venues, but have never heard of American.

I think Nancy Mehl was once published with them, if its the same group. You might want to talk to her as her experiences with them were all bad.
