I have been trying to get a book published for a very long time now (well, it seems like a very long time), and have had absolutely no luck. At this point I'm almost tempted to go with PA again. Anyway, I was actually wondering two things. 1: Does anyone know of good places to go to submit manuscripts / look for an agent? 2: Would anyone be willing to look at part of my writing and tell me if it's any good? |

Ryan, Registered users here at the forum have access to the workshop, where you can post for critique if you like. Just a suggestion. CEW Mindsight Moderator |

Hi Ryan, Lots of the registered users are very good at offering critiques and assistance. But it's best to do that in the private workshop, like CE said. Register and post a sampling of your work in the workshop and I am sure you will get answers. |

Ryan: Where you go to try to find an agent or publisher and how you approach them depends to a great extent on what you've written. I have an article posted around here and there on the Internet on how to organize to find an agent or publisher. If you are interested in reading it, go to http://www.writers.net, click on the "Agents" page from the home page, and you'll find links to articles strung down the right side. I don't remember how I titled the article here, but it will be something about the basics of finding an agent/publisher and is under my name. Think you'll find some of the other articles here helpful as well. Good luck. Gary Kessler http://www.editsbooks.com Finding Go!
