Hee, hee . . . saw this on the Alabama Live Book Forum this morning.

Well, thanks to all you jerks trashing this lady's book so much, I bought True Blue Forever from Amazon and read the whole book in one night because I couldn't put it down. It's much more than just a love story....it's about growing up in the south, making the right choices and learning the value of real friends. Since I grew up in Mobile, I loved all the local references about places like Ladd Stadium, Chickasawbogue,Stanky Field and others. The characters are not only like real people, it's people you would actually want as friends. I also liked how the story keeps moving with no places where it drags from boring, useless description, and there are no places where I said "who would ever do that?"

So I'm sure it's not what you meant to do, but you helped Ms. Scarborough promote her book by your immature comments that just show your ignorance.

By the way, I also noticed that she has answered all your "educated" challenges with answers you couldn't dispute and you always end up with nothing but childish insults. I think you're a bunch of frustrated school teachers who have been working on that "masterpiece" in your drawer for 30 years.

Gotta love it!

Hey, Sis~

I am so glad you saw that. And, every word of it is true, of course. I am thrilled that someone was wise enough to recognize blatant, unfounded judgements and then purchase the book in order to form their own opinion. I know she was more than pleasantly surprised to find a read like True Blue Forever. Way to go, Sis. Now, let those old, stuffy windbags put that in their pipes and smoke it!!!

Love ya,

Lee Ann

What a disappointment!
When I saw the title, I thought it was going to deal with something sullied.
OH, well, congratulations anyway.

Bill, if your mind ever runs across a scary clown named Pennywise when it's in the gutter, you'd better watch out!

Joyce,

What was that all about? Was someone at PA saying something bad? Where'd the negative stuff originate from?

Lisa, it's some pretentious jerk on the Alabama Live Book Forum (with several screen names and way too much time on his hands) who hates me because I didn't slink away when he called me a vanity-published hack.

So it was one guy? What was the purchaser of your wonderful novel talking about when he/she said, "all these jerks"? I thought it sounded a lot like PA authors being mad at you!

I suspect it's the same guy with multiple screen names because he frequently compliments himself, and believe me, there's nothing to be complimentary about.
