From time to time I "google" my name or one of my titles and I've come up with a few references to "Turn Left at September." I found a review from the Lansing State Journal that says. "This is a highly entertaining, carefully crafted police procedural. Although the killer doesn't really seem all that brilliant, the detective work is realistically detailed, making this a tense tale that's eminently satisfying." On another note I'm trying to maximize the impact of the ad that "Myshelf.com" has taken out in the program for the "Sleuthfest" mystery writer's conference this coming March in Fort Lauderdale. Because I'm the mystery reporter over at Myshelf, my column is featured in the ad. My March column is going to be an interview with Michael Allen Dymmoch, a really, really good mystery author from Chicago. And so I volunteered to handle the "Author of the Month" feature as well and will highlight Michael Dymmoch. (Mike Manno and Mike Ball both know her.) Two of the Sleuthfest organizers are Kristy and Kelly Montee who combine under the name P.J.Parrish to produce the NYT best selling "Louis Kincaid" series. I'll be reviewing their "An Unquiet Grave" for the March issue as well. With any luck, people who see the ad and decide to check out Myshelf.com will stumble across my name three times and each incidence will have a link to my website.
