Kaye | Monday, April 22, 2002 - 08:31 am Hello, I just got a response back from a publisher. I'm new at all of this, so can someone please explain some of the things they're asking me to send? Here is the message> "We would like to receive a complete proposal from you, which should included a Table of Contents, summary of the book, sample chapter, curriculum vitae, and any outside commentary your book has received." |

What were their comments? I'm no expert, but I am guessing that those are what they are looking for. |

Nancy Marie | Monday, April 22, 2002 - 06:51 pm Hi Kaye, and welcome. About the C.V. - my understanding is that in addition to your qualifications to write on the subject of your book, it should also be a list of other writings you have published. Usually a C.V. is requested of people holding a doctorate degree and is a list of publications for which they have written articles, a list of articles written, a list of scholarly treatises published, etc. So, I guess you'll just have to adapt it according to your specific qualifications, etc. smiles and blessings, Kitty (aka Nancy Marie to avoid confusion with the other Nancy) |
