I really enjoyed reading the book. I also liked the TV Movie. It remained pretty true to the novel. So far, I've enjoyed everything I've read by Mitch Albom. http://stephenlodge.com Novels by Stephen Lodge: "Charley Sunday's Texas Outfit!" "Nickel-Plated Dream" "Shadows of Eagles"

I enjoyed the book, but know of no other work by Albom. What has he done? Am I a dinosaur? |

Mitch Albom is a multiple award winning sports writer for the Detroit Free Press. He's also part of ESPN's "Sportswriters" program on Sunday mornings. He hosts a nationally syndicated drive-time radio show based in Detroit. His first few books were non-fiction sports books mostly centering around U of M sports teams and coaches. Albom has decidedly liberal leanings but often balances his opinions by inviting well known Michigander and conservative Ted Nugent (the Motor City Madman)to his radio show for debates. Nugent holds his own very well. Dennis Collins Moderator www.theunrealmccoy.com |
