there is an article on the AP wire that is either dejavu or an exact copy of an article that appeared in the NY Times right after the Nov. election.
Waxman Has Bush Administration in Sights
my question is this "Why would AP put out an article as news that is OLD NEWS?"
the quotes are the same and there is no new information - what gets me is it is word for word the same article.
Surely, all the journalistic people are aware of the re-posting of articles scandals by the NY Times earlier in the year and last year.
Did anybody check??????? mmmmmmmmmmmmm.......

Associated Press is organized as a not-for-profit cooperative...owned by its members-subscribers...among them the Times. AP runs a huge news gathering operation. In addition it encourages members to feed it stories for inclusion on the wire. My guess would be that the Times fed the story to AP, waiting a few days so it could be a Times "exclusive" at first. Of course, we all know why the Times would want it resurrected.
