Finally got the monkey off my back, and finished FID (again, after some feedback from beta readers)...it's now in the hands of some non-author readers to see what they think.
Now the only question I have to answer is where will the manuscript go from here?
I've given some serious thought to going a true self-published route. With the subject matter of my books being what it is, sci-fi publishers won't touch it (not sci-fi enough) and general fiction publishers won't either (too much sci-fi for the general public).
I won't go POD or vanity.
So, really, it would seem the only other option is self-published. I just need to learn a lot more about the industry.
We'll see how it goes...
