I received my advance copies of Heroes Die Young this weekend, and immediately went to town on distribution...bookstores, family, friends.

I gave out copies to a few people I know at work, and they were amazed that I had a published book. A pair of them who have served as beta readers in the past received their copies and were glowing almost as much as I was...thinking it was so cool to actually have a copy.

Having a published book is very much like a drug to an author. It can boost the ego, and is an extremely addictive activity. I guess I'd better get cranking on finding a publisher/agent for the next, so I can continue to feed the addiction.

I sold my body for a published book, but I only got enough for a tri-fold pamphlet.
