I haven't visited here in a while, so this is late, but hopefully not too late to do some good (I'm making a new thread because "Let's Put Our Heads Together" thread has gotten rather off-track). Anyway, I have some suggestions for professional and semi-professional SF/fantasy-oriented review sites to approach. All will accept finished books (as opposed to galleys in advance of publication: - Lisa Dumond at SF Site: http://www.sfsite.com/ (search the site for her reviews; her e-mail address is on them. She's especially interested in small press books). - Scott Edelman at SF Weekly: http://www.scifi.com/sfw/standing/staff.html (this page has e-mail contact info). - Ernest Lilley at SF Revu: http://www.sfrevu.com/ - Claire White at Writers Write: http://www.writerswrite.com/books/ - John Snider at Scifi Dimensions: http://www.scifidimensions.com/ - Steven Silver at Silver Reviews: http://www.sfsite.com/~silverag/reviews.html - Strange Horizons: http://www.strangehorizons.com/ - Revolution SF: http://www.revolutionsf.com/home.html - Crescent Blues: http://www.crescentblues.com/ - BookLoons http://www.bookloons.com/ - Victoria |

Happens every time. Someone starts a relevant, interesting thread, and someone else with their own agenda is sure to come along and sabotage it. www.authorsden.com/sophiesimonet |

Oops, forgot to list this one: - Don D'Amassa at Chronicle Magazine: http://www.dnapublications.com/sfc/ This is a print magazine with a pretty large circulation. Don does a lot of small press reviews. - Victoria Writer Beware http://www.writerbeware.com/ |

Hi Victoria: I just saw your info (I've been away for awhile). Thanks very much! It looks like good stuff, and I'll put them into my plans. I just got my new website up and running. You can check it out at http://soldierofthelegion.com/ Next, I will get serious about sending out news releases and contacting people like those you listed. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!! Regards, Marshall |

I don't have a specific horror list. But horror is often lumped in with SF and fantasy, and any of the reviewers listed above may be willing to consider it (a visit to the links and a poke round the sites should tell you if there's any horror there). Don D'Amassa at Chronicle definitely reviews horror, and he's very open to small press and POD-based press books. Also, check the Horror Writers Association website--there are many, many links to horror-related publications: http://www.horror.org/horrorlinks.htm - Victoria Writer Beware http://www.writerbeware.com/
