Howdy to the fellow "grads" of PA (& those who are not)! I just finished a gig at the Renaissance Festival in my state (I joined a stage combat team), & finished a new novel as well. It's being looked over by the co-author. We hope to start looking for an agent or publisher by the end of the year.

I hope everyone's doing well, writing a lot & staying out of trouble (within reason, of course)!

Hi Mary
Great to see you back. Y'all gotta stop by more often.

BTW, my youngest son also worked the Renaissance festival near Mt. Holly (ski lodge for you non-Michiganders) He's taken fencing lessons for a number of years. (He's got a black belt too. Do I have to start calling him sir?)

Dennis,

Ask him if he knows about the Knights of Iron. That's my group. We did the Musketeer/Pirate show. Okay, so I didn't really "play" anything. I was the Pirate King's "slave" (props, costumes, sold t-shirts, etc.).

www.goldfrost.com has some GREAT pics from this year!

Thanks for the welcome back, all. It's been one crazy summer. But the experience has been great fodder for future (& current) stories. Onto the subject of PA (kind of), the book I had originally released with them is currently being reworked. It deserves a second chance! Besides, a LOT of people want to read it.

Take care!
Mary

BTW...

Another old friend dropped by recently...

Mike Manno (The Deadly Habit) sent me a note saying that he had sent in his paid his registration for the Love is Murder mysterty writer's conference in Chicago in February.

Mike and I originally met when we both attended our first conference back in 1998. We were both unpublished rookies and began chatting at the cocktail reception on the eve of the conference. Seems like centuries ago.

So, Dennis, PLEASE SAY HELLO TO HIM FROM ME. I hope he is doing Ok and that the fates are with him in a very positive way. Tell him to stop by every once in a while.

Claudia
