No, I'm not talking about pastrami on rye. I found out from my agent there's this newsletter thingie called Publisher's Lunch that Hollywood producers and others frequent on a daily basis to see what's what. She emailed me the blurb for Until the Last Dog Dies that appeared in it today (I think she said only a one-sentence descrition is allowed, so it's a lengthy one!) Pretty cool. By the bye, I sent the copy-edited MS back to RiverOak last night. Next is printed galleys, I think, then the cover art. Summer 2004 is the pub date, so I had to change Joe's age a tad; nothing else major, though. Onward! John |

I get Publishers Lunch each day in my email. I read it when I have the time, unfortunately it is not always the day it comes out. I will look for your blurb. Sounds great that you made it that far though. Good going, John......... Claudia |

Publisher's lunch seems to be a very popular site among folks who've had some success in the writing business. It's constantly being recommended at writer's conferences and I've been a subscriber for a year or so. It's free, but if you want the really inside poop, you've got to subscribe to the pay version. |
