...when the PDF file on one's book comes in, that is. I got mine today from Cook/RiverOak for Until the Last Dog Dies, and that baby looks sweet. So far, I've found no typos or publisher mistakes, which is good, as they said they'd like it back by Feb 25th. When my editor told me they were going to fast-track this thing, they weren't kidding. May 1 is still the launch date. And now my palms are starting to sweat. Isn't that strange? I mean, I have one book out,POD, but this will be my first one in stores. It's an entirely different feeling. Is Mrs. Robinson's son REALLY up for this? Gulp! John |

As one of your devoted fans from day one.....I am so so thrilled for you JLR. I still get chills when thinking of that passage in Sock Monkey Blues. You know which one I mean. I cannot WAIT to read the final version of Until the Last Dog Dies. |

We're all so thrilled, John. I feel the way I did when my friend Marshall got his contract. It's so wonderful when it happens to someone who really deserves it. Nancy |
