Has anybody ever heard of Sterlinghouse Publishers? Before I went to PA I had contacted them and after they said they wanted my book I was told I had to buy 500 copies for them to publish it. This just popped into my head for some reason and I thought I would share it. Oh yeah, ever hear of Finesse Literary Agency? That was a joke too. Kevin |

I have not heard of SterlingHouse Publishers in any practical way. P & E does not recommend them, however. I have heard of Finesse Literary Agency. Unless they have changed, they charge fees. |

I have heard somewhat of both of these "companies". If you haven't already...run. Just run away. Donny - http://www.spirithelp.2ya.com http://www.drbennett.2ya.com |

I tried Finesse a long time ago, but ran away. Sterlinghouse was a joke as well, I missed work so I could call the woman about a possible contract and she kept me on the line for an hour before telling me I had to buy books. Everywhere you go people try to scam you, it's pathetic. I thought I made it good with PA, I was wrong again. Kevin |

Sterling House is a vanity publisher owned by Cynthia Sterling, who also owns Lee Shore, a fee-charging literary agency. Writer Beware has received quite a few complaints. Ditto for Finesse. - Victoria www.victoriastrauss.com www.writerbeware.com |
