 Hello everyone. First off I have been reading this board for some time and I like how many of y'all seem to jump in on a thread and give out tons of helpful advice. So I would appreciate any help you could supply me with.
Anyone ever heard of Fortitude Press Inc.?

There is a Fortitude Press with quite a number of titles listed on Amazon but I do not know if it is the same publisher and I did not check to see if all the titles were of a gay/lesbian theme. |

Since their site lists they only accept "lesbian-oriented" material, that would be my guess...
Checked out their store to see about prices (surprise)...
The Average of Deviance, 137 pages for $12.99...Amazon lists at the same price (thus, no discounts...combined with the fact there are "only 3 left in stock", I'm guessing that the company uses POD technology, and doesn't keep a lot of stock around...unless of course, the book is selling a lot of copies)
Hell for the Holidays, 179 pages for $13.99...again Amazon has the same price, and lists only 1 left in stock.
The Bluest Eyes in Texas, 305 pages for $15.99...Amazon with the same price, but no warning about low stock. A side note, this book has a sales ranking of just over 60,000 (of course, most of us know how reliable those are...but comparitively, the other two I listed were in the 1 million+ range)...
Don't know how well they do in the way of selecting their books. It mentions the manuscript gets passed around to "several board members" for consideration.
On the plus side, they seem to have a network of bookstores in which to sell their books...

I wish I could dig up more dirt on them. I did send them a nice little email asking all sorts of interesting questions. Once again Thank you for all your replies.
(By the way, I did know they only except lesbian/gay material)
