At WHC I sat down with William Jones of Elder Signs Press and hammered out the details for the release of my horror-fantasy epic THRALL. To be released late in 07, THRALL will be a limited HB run (200 copies) and then a trade pb.
A hardcore ride in a realm before the flood, I pull no punches in this bloody story about legend Gorias La Gaul...700 year old fabled merc (think John Wayne at the end)...as he tries to stop Manson-like cult leader Wyss from returning from the dead in the flesh of an undead dragon...to translate the Demonlatoria...and cause the destruction of mankind.
Through bars, whorehouses, and the foundry of Syn, Gorias and his grandson are trapped between a warring army, a town hunkering down for a war, and an invading barbarian army.
Can Gorias stop the Draco-lich and the armies of Nosmada before the ultimate evil is unleashed?
