When I found out that the domestic market was saturated, I decided to look elsewhere. Please keep in mind that this particular book is aimed at the ever-expanding number of English speakers in developing nations. Unlike here, the international market is a wide open entrepreneur's dream where the sky is the limit. Books by foreign authors published in the United States are held in high esteem. Both Pay Pal and CC Now accept payment in foreign currencies.
Globalization is a fact. We, as writers and publishers, are indeed fortunate that English is the lingua franca. It gives us an advantage that writers in other languages do not have.

The music is a romantic ballad from a pop group in Pune. They use traditional instruments, but play in American style. It's an exotic fusion that serves to enhance the experience of reading online.

When I was doing commentary on the Voice of America the same sort of thing was going on. The producer coached me painstakingly to s p e a k v e r y
s l o w l y...because listeners to the worldwide VOA audience used it to learn English. I found it quite a challenge.

While the internet/cell phone global technoculture is expanding exponentially, the gulf between the various traditional cultures is necessarily shrinking. If Mr. Rushdie can sell books in this country, there isn't any reason why you shouldn't be selling books on the Indian subcontinent. The populations of Pakistan and India are increasingly literate in English. Since electric transmission outside of the big cities is spotty at best and cable TV is for the most part non-existant, they really appreciate good books.
