After several years of trying my mother has sold one of her songs to a recording studio. "The Rose" is set to be released on a compilation cd in December (Tumba Records, Volume 10, Hands Across America 2007). Maybe there is hope after all? |

Most of her work revolves around inspirational poetry, though she has been known to go through periods of dark, or philosophical verse as well. As for "The Rose"...she is keeping it a secret until its release (I'm not even privileged with its content).
And you are quite right, I am extremely proud of her. I have watched my mother struggle for as long as I can remember, just trying to get her work regognized. The few titles she was able to release was from the music industry's version of POD. I'm hoping those days are over for her. |

Just got back from their place, and she is thrilled to have your support and warm wishes for her success. It means a great deal to her, especially right now. She is supposed to be giving a radio interview within the near future (date is still being discussed), and she has a serious case of stage fright.
Your comments and regards seemed to calm her, thank you for that blessing. |

Just a little update on my Mom's song, it is supposed to be receiving substantial air-time on WWW.hitsong.com for the next 72 hours. She also gave an interview over the phone that should be played (or available) on this site. I'm going there now to check it out. |
