DUNGAN BOOKS is proud to announce a new edition of Maxim Gorky's stories, featuring the novelette, Creatures That Once Were Men, and other stories, http://www.fdungan.com/gorky.htm. Gorky was an unrepentant Communist who died in 1936. It seems strange to resurrect his stories, but they remain timely and deserve to be retold. To set the mood, I added color and some depth to an original illustration and put in some background mp3 music - We Are Victims (no doubt apropos to red revolutionary philosophy) - sung by a Soviet chorus a la Mormon Tabernacle Choir. This is true revolutionary zeal to the point of being ridiculous. We won the Cold War and this is your part of the spoils. Enjoy, and be careful not to choke on the occassional reference to class warfare.
